How to get here.
In your car.
Beacon Comms North Office is located on Leigh Business Park is situated 2 miles from Leigh Town Centre and within sight of the East Lancashire Road (A580) which is one of the principle arterial roads in the region linking Liverpool with Manchester.
To the West this road offers direct access to the M6 at Junction 23 (6.8 miles / 11 mins) and to the east to Junction 14 of the M60 (7.1 miles / 14 mins). Manchester is located approximately 10 miles to the east, Liverpool 18 miles to the west and Warrington 8 miles to the south west.
On the train.
There are local Stations at Atherton ( 3.4m ), Hag Fold ( 3.5m ), and Daisy Hill ( 4.0m ).
On the tram.
There are local transit Stations at Warrington Road/East Lancs Road (Greyhound Motel), No’s 19, 28, 28A, ( 0.12m ) Warrington Road/East Lancs Road (Os House 281), No’s 19, 28, 28A, Warrington Road/Hope Carr Lane (Os House 254, No’s 19, 28, 28A ( 0.16m )
Where can you park?
We have a limited amount of parking spaces available in the front of the building, which includes some visitor parking.
Where can you work?
We have provided a number of meeting rooms available for our visiting partners and there is free Wi-Fi.
You can use these desks to keep in contact with your office when you visit us.
Please be aware that this space is used by all our partners and confidentiality should be considered at all times.
What to do when you’re thirsty.
There is a kitchen area at Beacon Comms. Tea, coffee and milk are free to visitors so please help yourself.
We simply ask that you help keep our kitchen tidy by washing up your dirty cups when finished. Water dispensers are also available.
What to do when you’re hungry.
If you plan to bring your lunch, there is a fridge in the kitchen along with plates and cutlery.
Please do not leave any food in the fridge after your visit.
Just a short 5 minute car ride down the road there is a large Tesco Superstore and Petrol Station, for any provisions that you may need.
If you use the kitchen facilities please ensure you leave it tidy and wash your dirty plates and cutlery.
If you need a bed for the night.
The Greyhound Hotel
The Greyhound Hotel, Leigh. A fantastic venue situated in a prime location on the East Lancashire Road (A580), just 10 miles from Manchester city centre, 22 miles from Liverpool city centre & 30 minutes from Manchester Airport.
The hotel consists of 74 ensuite rooms, doubles and American suites, which are both spacious and functional and equipped with all amenities as standard. The American style suites are perfect for family get away accommodating up to 5 guests. The Park Inn by Radisson
The Park Inn by Radisson Leigh is located in Leigh, England, short distance from Pennington Flash Country Park, and 12 miles from the grounds of Manchester United Football Club.
