Beacon has an established in house design department with a team of long standing employed surveyors, designers, CAD draughtsmen through to structural and electrical engineers.

From GA Drawings through to detailed design and as builts for all site types from Greenfield, rooftop, streetworks to Pylons, we have produced designs for all major mobile phone operators and have an established library built over many years of site surveying.

We have many years of experience of survey and detailed design of strengthening steelwork, producing drawings to fabrication level of detail. Often our own engineers then carry out the strengthening which has given us the accurate feedback required for successful tower strengthening. We have many examples of sites that have been made feasible as a result of carrying out foundation enhancement. This can often be an extremely cost effective solution to extend the life and increase the value of the tower asset.

Beacon Comms were one of the first companies to develop a G78 compliant design solution for electricity pylons. We are still actively involved in the design and build of telecoms installations on electricity pylons.
