Network Design and Planning - With our in house design team we are able to carry out conceptual network design to satisfy the main project criteria. We are then able to fully design the infrastructure and technology to satisfy this. Within the infrastructure umbrella we are able to conduct Site Surveys, Line of Site Surveys, Structural Surveys and Analysis to check the feasibility of the proposed network design. Link budget calculations and technology design are also available. All of this is carried out in house with our team of design engineers which are able to offer everything from CAD draughting through to Network planning and Structural Analysis.
Site Design and Site Enabling Works - Our experienced Surveying Team are able to attend site to identify any enabling works required and propose a solution for each site, the site can then be designed and drawings produced. These drawings are then used to support the acquisition process. Our in house Rigging and Build Teams are able to carry out any enabling works required. Through our many years within the industry we have completed major leg replacement, tower replacement, foundation enhancement and complete site build.
Installation and Commissioning Works - Beacon Comms are widely considered to be one of the leading companies within this specialised line of work. We have been heavily involved in all the major microwave network projects in recent years and have been instrumental in the success of these contracts. Our microwave I and C teams are fully accredited for all site types and are competent to carry out all site works including enablement within the project schedule minimising delays and revisits. The success of any microwave project is dependant on the quality of the I and C works. Our reputation for quality is borne out by achieving top client KPI scores backed up by our rigorous in house quality philosophy.
Documentation - We are very aware of the importance of completing final documentation for handover. We are firm believers in the task being incomplete until handover documentation is submitted. Another of our strengths is that we allow our team structure to morph to suit the project specific client organisation, part of this ethos includes a dedicated handover documentation team whose focus is solely on completion of handover packs. This gives our clients assurance that contract completion will be as swift as possible.
First and Second Line Emergency Support - Beacon currently provide first and second line support for a number of clients. Our strategically placed rigging teams and regional offices mean that we are perfectly placed to provide swift response times wherever a fault may occur. With the use of our vehicle tracking system we are able to accurately pinpoint the nearest engineer and act accordingly.
